It's been a while......

Now that most of the exams are over for my students life can resume again. Here is a collection of what I have been making over the past few weeks. Will be absent for a couple of weeks again though as life is getting in the way of craft!!  However technology won't let me put the pictures direct in here today for some reason so please follow the link and find me on Pinterest x

Latest commission

This is the largest size card I have attempted and is a commission for someone at work about to start maternity leave. It needed to be large enough for all staff to sign so is 16x8". It is also presented in an 8x8 card box. I used the crafters companion 16x16" centura pearl card as a base and then their A3 card stock for the colour theme. The images are from docrafts.

A selection...

A large selection of cards which I have been making recently.
This first card is using the new heartfelt creations collection. It's hard to see by the picture but is layered up to give a raised Aperture. It is coloured with the new spectrum Aqua pens...I LOVE them!

This is a paper pieced card for a friend who recently moved house. Was quick and easy...used up some left over scraps!

,

This is a card I made one evening using a free tattered lace die...really like this card colour!

This card was made using a spellbinders die for the card shape. Again using the new heartfelt stamps and dies with the spectrum Aqua pens.

This is a play with some scraps. Not sure if I like the end result. Like the double stamping of white ink then black ink for the sentiment.

This card is playing with spectrum pencils. New colour scheme for me and away from my usual comfort zone. Trying to play with new layouts and using pattern papers.

This is a quick card made with crafters companion create a card dies. Like stepper cards. Border made with another crafters companion die.

This is made for a mans birthday. Never make anything yellow that often but think it works. I won a 12x12 docrafts pad of bright coloured pattern paper which is what I used here. As it is a 10x5" card I used the enveloper plus board to make the envelope.

Here are some of the quick and simple Christmas cards I sent this year. :-)
