Crafters Companion - Testures Embossing folders

Another week and another set of DT samples. This time using the 8x8 textures embossing folders. I really enjoyed making these as I came up with a variety of ways to use the embossing folders. As soon as you change the way you use the folder it makes a massive difference to the look of the card.

Crafters Companion - Edge'ables

So it's been a week and I have another post! (can't believe it!). This time some more DT makes for the lovely Crafters Companion. These have all been made with the lovely edge'able dies which are so versatile. In addition they are made with the Crafters Companion Luxury Cardstock packs which if you haven't already tried you must as they are amazing...especially as the glitter doesn't shed :-)

A new card - Heartfelt Creations

So I have been workshop prepping again and have finished making the final card.

I have used the one of the new rose collections to create the flowers but instead of creating roses I have created my own type of flowers! As ever I have used my distress inks to colour them (mustard seed and spiced marmalade) and then for the leaves mowed lawn and twisted citron.

To create the background on the card I have used spritzing inks, Distress spray mermaid lagoon and picked raspberry. In addition I have used mica spray. To create the pearl drops I have used perfect pearls in white opal.

Finally the die cuts are from the heartfelt creations borders.

Before I forget I used the new Crafters Companion Easel Card blanks which you can find here.... https://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/fancy-card-blanks-easel-white.html

I will be making this card a few others as previously posted at Craftstation, Kirkby-In-Ashfield on Saturday 26th November so it you want to come and join the workshop please contact Helen at Craftstation.

That's all for today - more to follow later this week!

Workshop Prepping

Evening All,

So today I have been working on some design team work for Crafters Companion but cannot share that just yet.... You will just have to wait!

Instead I will share with you a few sneak peaks of an upcoming workshop which I will be running using a variety of Heartfelt Creations collections.

Project Number 1...

This first little box has been made with the lovely window frame die which came with the orchid collection. I have used the Cosmic Shimmer enchanted gold gilding paste to add the lovely shine to the light blue card. In addition I have used the holly and flowers from the latest Christmas collections.

Project Number 2...

This second project has been made using some Kraft card, the Tim Holtz Tag Die and the roses from the latest rose collection. They have been coloured using my crayons and then layered up. I have used the Crafters Companion Sparkle pens to add glitter. The background paper is from Trimcrafts Gilded Winter Paper pad.

Project Number 3...

This third project has been made from the large rose stamp in the rose collection. I have heat embossed on white card with the Ivory embossing powder. I have then taken Tim Holtz Distress Crayons and placed some background colour on top of the image. Using water on a blending tool I have then blended the colours together, Finally I stamped again and cut out the sentiment and used silicone glue to raise this off the card. I then mounted this on cream card and placed on a kraft card base.

That's me for today,

Happy Crafting!
